Our final music therapy method for this week is receptive music therapy. Everyone has songs or artists that they feel especially connected to. Finding ways to use these preferences in a therapeutic way is so important in our practice. Cicely shares a few ways that she uses the receptive method in her sessions. Our clients can express themselves and show what they have learned through creating their own music as well!
