Summer 2026 Classes

This summer, we have classes for the whole family!!  All class sessions except Listen & Learn are 8 weeks (June 8 – July 30).

Individual registration for each class is $130.
Registration for 2 people in one family or 2 classes is discounted to $220.
Registration for 3 people in one family or 3 classes is discounted to $310.

Summer Sound Explorers (Ages 6-13)
Mondays 1:00 – 1:45 PM

Music Making Fun for Curious Kids: designed just for individuals who want to stay creative and connected during the break! With weekly themes and through interactive lessons, rhythm games, listening activities, and collaborative music-making, students will explore instruments, musical styles, and basic theory—all while building confidence and having fun with peers. Whether your child is brand new to music or already playing an instrument, Summer Sound Explorers is the perfect way to keep the learning (and joy!) going all summer long.

Music Theory Foundations (ages 7-14)
Wednesday 1:00 – 1:45 PM

Music Theory for Beginners introduces the building blocks of music in a fun and easy-to-understand way. Participants will learn about notes, rhythms, scales, key signatures, musical symbols, and more through games, activities, and hands-on learning. This class is a great fit for participants who are taking music lessons, interested in singing, or simply want to better understand how music works.

Intro to Ukulele (ages 7-13)
Tuesdays 1:00 – 1:45 PM

Ready to strum and have fun? Intro to Ukulele is the perfect class for individuals who are interested in learning a new instrument in a supportive and encouraging environment. Participants will learn the basics of ukulele, including how to hold the instrument, simple chords, strumming patterns, rhythm, and beginner songs. This class is designed to help children build confidence, creativity, and a love of music all while learning their favorite songs and having fun with peers.  

Participants will be required to provide their own ukulele but will be given materials to take home to encourage further learning. 

Group Voice/Choir (ages 7-14) 
Thursdays 1:00 – 2:00 PM

A fun and social singing class is designed for individuals who love to sing and want to grow their confidence in a group setting. Participants will learn vocal warm-ups, breathing techniques, harmony, pitch matching, and how to sing as part of a choir. Participants will have the opportunity to build their voices, practice listening skills, and experience the joy of making music together with peers.

Reading Music in Musical Theatre (Ages 7-14)
Thursdays 2:00 – 3:00 PM

Perfect for aspiring performers, singers, and musical theatre fans, this class focuses on helping participants learn how to read sheet music with confidence. Students will explore rhythm, melody, note reading, and musical symbols commonly used in choir, theatre, and vocal music. Whether interested in stage performance, choir, auditions, or simply singing for fun, this class provides a strong foundation in reading music in an engaging and supportive setting.

Jam Band (Ages 13-17)
Thursdays 2:00 – 3:00 PM

A collaborative music group for teens who already have some experience singing or playing an instrument and want to make music with others. Participants will work on listening, teamwork, improvisation, and rhythm skills while learning how to play together as a group. This class encourages creativity, confidence, and social connection while giving teens the opportunity to explore a variety of musical styles in a fun and supportive setting.

Songwriting (Ages 13-17)
Thursdays 1:00 – 2:00 PM

This creative class is designed for teens who want to explore writing their own music in a supportive and inspiring environment. Participants will learn the basics of songwriting, including lyric writing, melody creation, chord progressions, song structure, and storytelling through music.  Whether they are brand new to songwriting or already have experience, this class encourages creativity, self-expression, and a deeper connection to music.

Music Theory for College Prep (Ages 14-18)
Tuesdays 1:00 – 2:00 PM

Designed for teens who are considering a future in music, this class goes beyond the basics of music theory and helps prepare students for college-level music study. Participants will build skills in note reading, rhythm, scales, chords, key signatures, ear training, harmonic analysis, and more advanced musical concepts. This class is a great fit for students interested in becoming music majors, preparing for auditions, participating in advanced ensembles, or strengthening their musical knowledge before college.

 Students enrolling in this class should have an understanding of the following: Treble Clef Notes on the Staff; Basic Rhythms – Including reading quarter, half, whole, dotted, eighth notes and rests; and 4/4 time signatures.

Music Theory for Adults (ages 18+)
Wednesdays 5:15 – 6:00 PM

Have you ever wanted to better understand how music works?  Do you sing in a choir or participate in local theatre? Do you have a child in lessons and want to help but don’t know where to start?  If you answered YES to any of those questions, this class is for YOU! 

Music Theory for Adults is a welcoming introductory class for adults who are interested in learning the basics of music theory. Participants will explore note reading, rhythm, scales, chords, key signatures, and common musical terms in an easy-to-follow format. Whether you are a beginner, returning to music after many years, or looking to support your own musical hobbies, this class offers a relaxed and engaging learning environment.

Listen & Learn Classes (Ages 0-6)

We are thrilled to offer MULTIPLE classes this summer including several sections of Listen & Learn for Little Ones (ages 0-3), two sections of Listen & Learn a Little More (ages 4-6), and our newest class Listen & Learn for the family (ages 0-6)!
