Music & Friends: Let’s Get Social is a summer music camp for children with special needs, ages 7-18. Created by our board-certified therapists, this program is designed to target essential social skills while immersing participants in music exploration. Activities are designed based on specific goals and objectives.

Goals that are addressed include (but are not limited to) turn taking, sharing materials, group cohesiveness, participation, staying on task, following directions, and awareness of others.

Each weekly 60 minute session combines structured activities (instrument making, instrument playing, sing-alongs, etc.) with free time for participants to positively interact with one another and learn key skills to build their social strengths.
