Piano Lessons
Piano lessons are available to students as young as 5. Students are assigned weekly songs and exercises, and are encouraged to practice regularly at home in between lessons.
Piano lessons are 30 minutes per week. Current tuition rate for new students is $120/month. Please note that there is an introductory materials & registration fee of $40, which covers the cost of repertoire, accompaniment tracks, and other materials.
Voice Lessons
Voice lessons are available to students as young as 5. For the younger student, skills such as basic music theory, rhythm, and melody are addressed through repertoire that is age-appropriate. The goal is for the student to enjoy learning to sing!
For the more advanced student, emphasis is placed on breathing technique, vocal placement, and stage presence. Music genres include Disney, Broadway, Pop, and an introduction to Classical. Students are encouraged to choose their own repertoire (within the instructor’s guidelines). Voice lessons are meant to augment any training the student is receiving at school, as well as prepare the student for auditions, performances, and vocal competitions.

Guitar & Ukulele Lessons

Adapted Lessons
Adapted lessons are a great option for students who may benefit from additional support and considerations during music instruction.Similar to traditional lessons, but unlike music therapy, the goal of adapted lessons is to learn an instrument (voice/piano/guitar/ukulele).
Adapted lessons are taught by our music therapists, all of whom have additional training in various diagnoses and life experiences, and who can provide the individualized support required for students with different learning styles or needs.
Examples of adaptations include color-coded sheet music, visuals for song lyrics, hand placement support visuals on the piano or guitar, and extra space for “brain breaks” or conversation. Adapted lessons are flexible to meet the needs of each individual student in order to best support their growth as a musician.
I’m not sure my student is ready for lessons.
There are many signs that instructors use to determine when a young student is ready to begin traditional lessons.
The student:
- knows the difference between left and right
- knows the alphabet and can read the letters ABCDEFG
- can count to ten
- can focus on an activity for a minimum of 20 minutes
- has shown interest in starting music lessons
- can follow basic instructions
- is able to independently use the bathroom
The parent/guardian:
- is willing to help facilitate practice time
- owns or is willing to purchase the instrument required
- is prepared for the cost of lessons and the time commitment involved (weekly lessons, practice time, travel to and from lessons)
- must be will/able to stay on-site for individuals under the age of 12.
